Had a great stay in Shane's apartment. whilst its nothing flashy, the location is brilliant, great neighbourhood, with plenty of cool bars and one of the best lobster rolls ive ever had just down the road at the lobster joint on manhattan ave. walking distance to the willamsburg brooklyn flea. 3 minutes from the g train, super fast internet, i was working whilst in new york and had to transfer lots of imagery every night and the speed was literally 50 times better than any hotel ive used (and normally paid an extra $20/night for). check in and out was really easy and shane was flexible with times. not much more to say really other than fully recommend this place, for the price its a steal, and greenpoint seems to be getting better and better so by the time youre reading this theres probably a couple more cool bars within a stones throw.
oh and i almost forgot, about a $5 cab ride will get you to the gutter, go after 1am, $5 per game bowling and $15 pitchers of beer, awesome music and a pool table.
