Visitors are exposed to a unique insight into the lives of the Knysna elephants. They can experience a close-up and personal encounter with these gentle giants, and leave having gained a healthy respect for these wonderful animals, as well as a better understanding of the African elephant and his plight across the continent.

These elephants are rescued orphans or ex circus animals, so perfectly safe. Your visit is a treasure of an experience for you and helps keep the ellies in food and safety.

The Knysna Elephant Park is home to a matriarchal herd of 10 elephants. Visitors get to experience these majestic animals up close, safely guided by each elephants' ranger. All of the animals are free-roaming and live in an area replicating their natural habitat. This is an extremely unique and special opportunity that exceeds every visitors expectation.
