Postcode BH21 4EA Lavish family home built to remember a venetian palace. The estate is 8,500 acres. It has a Japanese garden and kitchen garden.

A National Trust property that belonged to the Banks family whose land extended to Corfe Castle. Lady Banks defended the castle against Oliver Cromwell. The property has a number of open rooms and a very good art collection. The grounds are extensive with various gardens within the estate. There is a good cafe and gift shop.

Kingston Lacy House and Estate - an English manor house built to resemble an Italian palace. Perfect for art lovers with Titians, Van Dycks etc. Gardens are beautiful too. Great for a picnic!
