Los Alamos Cocina y Market - a somewhat spare little neighborhood bodega has a surprisingly good buffet style restaurant serving up authentic Mexican style breakfast and lunch. Great tamales. Great salsa verde!

There is a lot of great mexican food and tacos in KC but this is one of the best and one of our favorites! It's also in a really cute neighborhood!
