The True Value store has a selection of essentials that you may need for your visit, and if you don't want to drive to Kea'au or Hilo for those necessities. Prices may be higher, which is why we recommend buying groceries and any necessities prior to arrival, but if you are in need of something immediately, it is likely they will have it available.

They have an ATM, the cheapest alcohol in town and great brownies. Make sure to get there before they close at 5:30pm! (4 on Sundays) (They have relocated to the back of the parking lot) This is where you can get change and soap for the laundromat nearby. They take great care of it.

The laundromat is right next to True Value. True Value is where you will find souvenirs, sweatshirts, snacks, and sundries.
