Open from May , BC Victoria Day , to August! The site is a restored Hudson's Bay Company post located on the southern scenic shore of beautiful Stuart Lake. What a setting!! It is commemorated as a center of trade and commerce in the 19th century fur trade. Established in 1806, this site has the largest group of original wood buildings with many exhibits and interpreters to explain its historic significance as it was in the 1890's. Fascinating!!! Complete with period dressed staff, livestock and animals, one can truly imagine what it was like during that time.
