This is hands down the best way to get into and back from DC. Its affordable and will drop you off a few blocks from the Smithsonian and the National Mall. Coupled with an UBER or a city bike once in DC it's a deal. No parking hassles.

VRE on weekdays; AMTRAK 7 days a week. Tell USMC Quantico gate sentry that you are going to the VRE or AMTRAK.
