Fascinating natural labyrinth. A beautiful walk in the shade for hot days.

Situated near the Puivert Castle, the Labyrinth is rich with historical and legendary landmarks. At the start of the path, you will see ruins of medieval windmills right next to the remains of a much more recent Nazi fort demolished by Allied bombings. Then you will travel to the land of legends, with natural wonders like “the squid oak,” “the harp fir tree,” “the fairy’s den,” “the witch’s rock,” “the great rock maze,” and “the ringed rock.” All of these sights are various flora and mineral oddities presented in the local language - Occitan - and explained in French through many descriptive signs. A partir de la place de l'eglise a Nebias, ce sentier est top pour toute la famille, mais un niveau basic de fitness est recommande a cause du chemin qui monte du village vers le debut du labyrinth, duree 15 a 20 minutes en montant legerement. Il y a de belles vues vers le chateau de Puivert une fois arrivee a l'ancien moulin, et a droite un detour vous mene un peu plus loins aux ruines de l'emplacement des canons antiaeriens de la 2eme guerre. Une fois dans le labyrinth vous etes dans un lieu qui parrait parfois semi souterrain a cause des arbres denses au dessus et le parcours de rochers geants de chaque cote du chemin.

superbe balade dans un écrin de verdure à faire en famille en solo ou en amoureux l endroit est magique, n oubliez pas de vous arrêter sous l arbre harpe surtout n oubliez pas vos déchets pour ne pas abîmer ce lieu si paisible
