The church of Anime Sante del Purgatorio stands on a steep flight of steps fenced by an ornately wrought gate. It was built in baroque style in the first half of the eighteenth century. The interior is divided into three naves by two rows of pitch stone columns. We can admire the big picture of “Purifing souls” painted by Francesco Manno, a eighteenth century Crucifixion and a picture of the “Sacred Family” painted by Tommaso Pollaci in 1801. ------------------------------------ La chiesa delle Anime Sante del Purgatorio che si erge su una ripida scalinata cinta da un ‘ artistica cancellata , fu costruita in stile barocco nella prima metà del ‘700.
