A heritage park that includes a café and a brewery, plus a train that runs on some weekends. Just down the road from Miyazu gardens so a good idea to visit both!

Historical Heritage Park with a cafe. Fun to walk around, scooter around for the kids and sometimes has live music, book fairs, festivals, Day of the Dead, theatre or other things happening inside the park.

Founders Park houses a number of historical buildings. A short heritage railway line is operated by the Nelson Railway Society. Several shops operate in the park, selling bakery and other artisan foods, as well as locally-made arts & crafts.

Founders Park is a great place to look around, there is an onsite brewery and a lot of historic stores. We actually had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception here!
