The church of Angeloktisti, in the village of Kiti, has one of the finest examples of Byzantine art of the Justinian period.

Not far from the studio. Old historic church. Legend says that they were building the church in a different area but in the morning the angels would build it in that area. Hence the name 'Angel-built Church"

The Church of Panagia Aggeloktisti was submitted as a possible UNESCO World Heritage Site in September 2015 and is currently listed on the list of Tentative UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to some of Cyprus most famous centuries old mosaics.
