“When I say 'Food Scene' and 'Restaurant' it is much more than this. Chesil Beach Centre is owned by Dorset Wildlife Trust and is a centre for wildlife and environmental exhibitions plus you can book a boat trip from here. There is also a small cafe, Taste, which serves good food, for instance pork, cider & mustard pie with fresh vegetables, lovely coffee and really good cakes and scones. The daily specials are always interesting and good portions too.”

“The Boat That Rocks is a restaurant overlooking Portland Harbour with seating inside and out and they are also a live music venue. The location is also good to walk and explore Hamm Beach and is close to the Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy and Portland Castle.”
