Next to the Visitor Center, 403, Beech Mountain Pkwy, Beech Mountain, NC 28604 The popular youth sledding hill in the Town of Beech Mountain is open daily, weather permitting, from early December through early March. The hill provides free sledding for children 12 and under. Hours of operation are 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM weekdays, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekends and select holidays

*Open November-February* Located by and managed by the Beech Mountain Visitor Center, this sledding hill is for children under 12. The sledding hill features it's own snow blowing machine, and with Beech Mountain being "The Highest Town on the East Coast" there is a high chance it will be cold enough most days to have snow. TIP: If you need a sled, just walk down the street to Fred’s General Mercantile and find a wide variety available on the front porch.
