This park is 211 acres and offers several winding trails (4.5 miles). In the summer at the north end of the park, there is an open splash pad and playground, next to sand volleyball courts. There are grills within the picnic area. It also has a nature center, historic Spicer house and barn. Hours: dawn-dusk daily Admission: free

Nice hiking/cross country ski trails. Also a great Nature Center for and park with a splash pad. No dogs on these trails though. (Farmington Hills - 15 min away)

A great year-round park with miles of trails, both paved and rustic. Make a left at the first road after the entrance to get to the parking lot where the trails start. Also there: a small but nice nature center featuring local wild life exhibits. FREE!
