Serene and beautiful. A great place to visit and enjoy the quietness of just being. Beautiful garden that is in honour of the Japanese from Mayne Island who were interned during the war. It is maintained by volunteers

Make sure you visit the beautiful Japanese Gardens, for a ‘zen’ like experience, on Mayne Island. Open in all seasons, it presents some unique and exotic varieties of trees and flowering bushes and plants. Walk over little bridges, sound a gong, meditate while gazing at a pond.
