This ferry is the car ferry that goes to Fishbourne. You can travel as a foot passenger but there is really nothing in the vicinity to do so you would need to take public transport to the place you want to visit.

From Ryde Pier Head, the Island Line runs direct trains to Brading, Sandown and Shanklin, whilst Ryde bus station offers easy access to the entire Island. The Portsmouth Terminal is adjacent to Portsmouth Harbour railway station and the national and local bus interchange.
