Up for a little drive outside the city? About 45 minutes away, this is one of my favorite waterfalls and hiking spots in the area. Consider taking the scenic route along 27 if you're coming from Signal Mountain (it's all scenic around here, actually..)

Choose your own adventure with this Monteagle Mtn. hike-- a somewhat grueling 12.7 miler on the Fiery Gizzard trail or the more moderate 2.19 mile loop. Either way, the dip at the end is a treat! :)
