Heacham's north and south beaches face west and look out to a huge 20 mile bay. The water here is shallow and sheltered, ideal for children, as well as providing a perfect area to see impressive sunsets.

A few minutes drove from Britannia Cottage - car park available. Great for children and walking - fab sunsets over The Wash

This beech is quieter than Wells, Cromar and Sheringham but equally good, there is a small coffee shop and arcades near the car park. This a great accessible walk to Hunstanton approximately 3 miles.

Beautiful shingle beach for an evening walk. 40 minutes drive. Fantastic sunsets and dog friendly

The flood defence bank is good if you enjoy being by the sea but like to keep paws clean. Heacham has two beaches - park at the North beach and walk north to Hunstanton either on the beach or the flood defence bank. If you go for a walk towards the end of the day, you will be treated to majestic sunsets.
