Go for a refreshing swim in this lovely pond on a hot day and explore the adjacent historical town of Concord. If the parking lot is full park across the road near school and walk in thru the woods.

Go to the visitor center to learn about Thoreau's stay here and/or hang out at the pond on a hot summer day. You can walk around the pond, find spots along the way to perch, or stay at the beach area
