Don’t Drive By! You have to Stop I was traveling alone in Pensacola when talking with a gentleman who owned a food truck. He told me about the Blue Dot and where it was. I almost drove on by because it doesn’t look like much from the outside. I parked and went inside to a completely packed room! The locals explained the ordering process and a short time later I walked out with the best burger I’ve had! That is all he makes, burgers, but the best! Add a bag of chips and a drink. Cash and he closes when he runs out. It was a fun local place, a little off the beaten path with a friendly local crowd. I’m so glad I decided to go in! Show less

OH MY this is what a burger is meant to taste like .. Check the hours only open weekday. Grab a burger and go to the park .

Ok, you want a new burger experience to beat all? I challenge you! Go to the DeVilliers Neighborhood, the artsy, funky and revitalizing edge of downtown. You get here before the joint opens and stand on the street like an addict. When they throw open the door, you all flood in and spread out around a stand-only, giant u-shaped counter. One dude comes out from the back and takes everyone's orders. At the same time. No pen and paper. Then, y'all wait. Pretty soon, here come the brown paper sacks, dealt out perfectly to each customer. With sassitude. Good solid burger too!!

A three-minute walk up DeVilliers, Blue Dot has been a local’s favorite since 1946. No-frills counter-serve joint with a small seating area & simple menu of burgers & ribs. It’s lunch only and they don’t offer cheese, but you won’t mind.
