Beautiful little hill town 20 min drive from Panzano. Park your car outside the village wall and walk around the historic centre. Some good shops with cashmere and leather goods. For a quick meal try Bottega Giovannino or outside the walled part the restaurant "Le due Forchette (the two forks)"

Medieval fortifications, classic Chianti scenery and lots of wine. Radda is essentially the classic Chianti town and it has at least 1000 years of winemaking heritage in the hills around. The main "sight" inside its walls is the Palazzo del Podestà built in the 15th century; outside the walls the church of Santa Maria in Prato is now a small religious art museum, whose collection includes an altarpiece by Neri di Bicci, florentine painter.
