Embrace your Bohemian side at this architecturally playful home in the hills of Bandol, France. Swim laps in the pool while a friend times you from the windowed floor below. Stretch out in a lounger and work on your tan while you enjoy the view from 3 different terrace levels. At night, drive 5-km to Bandol’s city center to check out the restaurants and bars around the marina district.

Stretching length-wise up the lush Provencal hillside, Villa on the Rock enjoys a unique layout that promotes a clutter-free, airy, and scenic atmosphere. On the upper level, floor-to-ceiling windows frame spectacular views of the countryside. An extra spacious plan, from the living room to the kitchen, is decorated with an exciting color palette, with furniture that is sure to spark dinner conversation. Outside, palm trees line the pool, creating a perfect spot in the shade for some afternoon reading. At dinner, consider bringing in a private chef to whip up some classic French cuisine in the fully-equipped kitchen. Then, dine alfresco as the sun sets beyond the hills.

Bandol’s sandy beaches are known for their clarity, making them a favorite among snorkelers and scuba divers. Another important local tradition is winemaking and the Mourvedre grape, the signature of the region. There are over 50 vineyards to explore. Before the wine tour, shoot a round at Fregate Golf Course, one of the finest 18-holes in Europe.
