This Airbnb is housed in one of Joplin's Historic Landmarks, the Frederick H. Rogers House, completed in 1905. Frederick H. Rogers was a mining entrepreneur during the peak of the lead and zinc mining era. He engaged Austin Allen, the most prominent architect of the era, to design the house to his specifications. The house features domed ceilings, hardwood floors laid in the log cabin design and imported wood trim. The Rogers family called the house home until 1917.
This is one of two guest rooms in one of Joplin's historic homes and includes a queen-sized bed, dresser, closet, and access to all shared living spaces, including two living areas, kitchen, two bathrooms, and a great screened-in porch for drinking your morning coffee. We are blocks from Historic Route 66, 3 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from the Joplin airport, 12 minutes from Freeman and Mercy hospitals, and 12-15 minutes to Interstate 44 and 49.
Modern feel home, with some inconspicuous antique touches and sporty flair. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood near both hospitals, KCUMB (5 min walk/less than 2 min drive), downtown, Downstream Casino, shopping/restaurants, parks, walking trails, Route 66, & I-44.
“Jeg likte bor her, super nær KCU så jeg kunne gå til campus. Heather var svært accomodating for endringer i innsjekking på grunn av min flyturen forsinkelser. Hennes hund er også veldig opptatt. Jeg ville bli her igjen!”
