Mtende Boutique Villa is a private modern new home located at Kiwengwa , Eastern coast of the beautiful Island of Zanzibar. it's 150m away from the beach with crystal clear sand, just a 1-minute walk to the main road, 1.8 km away from Italian Hospital and Supermarkets, just 47 km from the International Airport, and 3 minutes walk to the Tennis courts and Laundromat. We are surrounded by local shops and Restaurants in the region, just a minute's walk to the restaurant both local and European.

Spacious Studio Suite in Private Home

Our studio suite (the entire lower floor of our home) is only a one-minute walk to beautiful Paje Beach! It consists of a very spacious air-conditioned room with comfortable beds for up to 4 people, a dining area/workspace, and a large private bathroom with hot water. There is also a well-equipped kitchenette space with a gas ring, microwave, fridge - everything needed to prepare a simple meal. The private patio has a table and chairs overlooking our pool and large enclosed tropical garden.

This is a quiet eco retreat, not a hotel or party place. This cozy A-frame cabin is ideal for solo travelers or couples seeking a calm, simple stay in Nungwi. The cabin is part of a small retreat with a shared garden, pergola, firepit, hammock, and lemongrass used for herbal tea. There is no swimming pool, the beach is about a 10-minute walk. Electricity is primarily supplied by a solar system with battery storage, with city electricity used as backup when needed, as is common in Zanzibar.
