The Pilgrim House

Come home for a rest in our oceanfront Newfoundland homestead located a stones throw from the harbours edge. The UNESCO Historical Viking Site and the Viking Norstead Port of Trade are just minutes away in Lanse Aux Meadows. Enjoy local food and maybe take a boat tour to view icebergs and whales if they are in the area. We welcome every person from every place to come make memories at our house. Unwind and enjoy a still summer morning as the sun rises and lights up the face of White Cape.

This unique tiny home is located in the heart of a working fishing village in Champneys West! Located right on the Fox Island Trail! This retro themed home is small with a big presence! Because it is right on the water it has a propane Cinderella Incinerator toilet and a propane on demand hot water system. The stairs are a little steep for those with mobility issues. The harbour is a highly sought location! A beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage on the deck overlooking the water!

Located in the Outer Bay of Islands at the base of the Blow-me-Down Mountains, this seaside escape offers both ocean and mountain views with a nautical theme inspired by over four generations of local family fishing heritage. We are a hidden gem along route 80, just 15 minutes from TCH at whitboune. You’ll find walking trails, heritage information and must visit neighbouring communities. We are less than 5 minute commute to the Dildo Brewery. In our community, you’ll find local bakeries and a multitude of restaurants.

Big Brook Wheelhouse

The first water wheel sawmill was built in Burlington in the late 1880s. Our wheelhouse is a reminder of the rich history of our town. Relax and enjoy the soft trickle of our functioning water wheel while enjoying the view of the harbour from the deck or fire pit. The interior of our wheelhouse offers a unique and functional design, with many reclaimed boards from family homes and wharves over 90 years old. Come explore our town, meet the locals, and enjoy!
