The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Our spacious newly renovated 5 bedroom home has a Sunrise, Sunset view. Out in the country but close to many attractions including The Nook, Hershey Park, Sight & Sound and Amish Country. It features a huge great room with fireplace, pool table and shuffleboard. The kitchen is fully stocked w/ lots of space to gather around the island, dining room table and living room with a gas fireplace. The Lower Level King Suite gives versatility to your stay. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Find time to enjoy all that the area has to offer or just rest and take in the surroundings! We have trails in the woods nearby and around our meadow that lies in front of the farmhouse. The historic charm of the original two story farmhouse has been restored while still allowing for modern bathrooms and kitchen space. There is a first floor master suite with en suite bath for those who want to avoid the old staircase. Come and enjoy.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The entire home has been newly renovated with thoughtful touches and an eclectic feel. Conveniences include a wood stove, sleep number mattress, Viking gas stovetop/oven, deck facing river with propane grill, a covered carport entry, and a 180* river view at the top of the property!
