Featherstone View Cottage is a fully equipped, private, self-catering cottage designed for practical living and simple comforts, with beautiful mountain views of Featherstone Kloof and Signal Hill. It is a calm place to reflect and unwind as you take in the breathtaking views, while still being very close to the city, shops and schools. Off the grid: take a break from load-shedding and water-shedding. The cottage is situated 5km (7 minutes’ drive) from the centre of Makhanda (Grahamstown).

Suitable for groups or individuals looking for a peaceful, country getaway, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling or simply relaxing. The house is completely off grid.
