All the appliances and furnishings are all new and picked out to maximize the space and design of this house. The house can accommodate six guests.

The cabin was originally built to be off-the grid, but now has electric, heat, ac, and a wood stove!

Only a short distance from Joplin, Carl Junction, and Galena, KS, this cabin is surrounded by several ponds, the largest of which is right outside your front door. Our home was originally built in 1905 by the somewhat notorious cigar manufacturer, Leon S. Boucher. The Flor De Leon was a popular brand of cigars that L.S. Boucher manufactured and sold here in downtown Joplin. My wife and I have lovingly renovated our home over the past year by combining its original historic charm with our own modern/eclectic style. We are particularly proud of the kitchen, bathrooms, and sunroom! We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!
