FYI, no events will take place during your stay. The Farmhouse was built in the late 1880s in the traditional Finnish style of square-cut logs. It was extensively renovated with two other additions and all the modern amenities you'd expect in a home today. This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Iron River is also a great location, close to National Forests, the World famous Brule river, and Lake Superior all within a fifteen minute drive!! Bayfield and the Apostle Islands are also not too much further, and are great easy day trips to enjoy.

This cabin comfortably fits 2-4 people! You can enjoy the outdoors at the fire pit or the 3 season porch that gives you the perfect indoor/outdoor feeling!

It is located on Long Lake just east of Iron River, WI, in Bayfield County. Fishing, bird watching, biking, cross-country skiing and hiking are great "silent sports" but the cabin is also only a few blocks from the Tri-County Corridor (the start of the Whistlestop Marathon) for exceptional dirt biking, four-wheeling and snowmobiling.
