With the Whitsundays on our door step you are a short day trip to the Islands, Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach. The Whitsundays offers a great diversity of attractions, activities and experiences with the stunning backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef and 74 island wonders. You will find plenty to do when on holidays here from Bush walks to snorkel trips.

The Getaway Box sits serenely and privately in sub tropical rainforest gardens approx. 6kms from central Byron Bay. You are only a 5 minute drive from beaches, restaurants and shopping. You are a 5 minute walk to McCarthys Lookout and a 5 minute drive from Mary Cairncross Reserve. 5 minutes in the other direction to Maleny Village with the wonderful shops and cafes. Parking is under cover and next to the cabin through automatic gates. The only sounds you will hear are the birds. Minimum stay is 2 nights, but if you are looking for one night please get in touch. Fully self contained and stand alone building, halfway between Nowra and Ulladulla. Only 3 minutes from the highway but far enough away to escape all the noise. If you enjoy rural tranquility and a chance to listen to the birds this is the place for you. If you want to be 5 mins away from shops and restaurants - this place is not for you! (it will take you about 20- 30 minutes to get to those)! There is excellent privacy with separate driveway access from the main house.
