Join me, a food writer, for an in-depth tour of Fitzroy and Collingwood, two of Melbourne’s hippest neighborhoods, where I’ll introduce you to the best of the city’s eclectic inner north.
• Start with coffee at INI, known for its minimalist interiors and unusual coffee creations, and grab a treat at Falco, an organic sourdough bakery.
• Walk along Smith Street, one of the city’s most diverse shopping strips. I’ll show you my favourite providores, thrift stores, eclectic shops, and more. There’ll be time to shop and taste along the way.
• Stroll to the area’s other bohemian boulevard, Brunswick Street, where I’ll discuss the street art and murals and point out interesting architecture, from warehouse conversions to 19th-century miners’ cottages.
• Wrap up at the Punters Club, a classic Aussie local pub, sharing drinks and stories from your time in Melbourne.
