Erowal Cottage at Jervis Bay

Cool, very spacious and super relaxed retro style cottage. Filled with travel treasures mixed with funky and functional retro stuff. A short drive to all the fabulous beaches, villages and national parks of Jervis Bay. The cottage is set amid towering gums and surrounded by a tropical, edible garden, with an emphasis on permaculture principles, including worm farms and frog ponds. Recycled and re-purposed items have been utilised to create garden art and to make a Byron-meets-Bali feel.

This gorgeous Stone cottage has been built from the local stone collected from the surrounding land. Built with recycled timbers and antique building materials it looks like it has been there for more than a century. It has just been fully renovated and has all new appliances. A charming little 1971 yellow brick beach front cottage, with private access to Warrain beach from the back, or access to the life saving club from the front (2 houses down the road). And when you're not swimming in the beach, enjoy the large rear balcony overlooking Warrain Beach, where you will be relaxed by the sites and sounds of ocean whilst having a BBQ. This cozy classic 1950's beach cottage has been tastefully renovated, and has a nice deck overlooking the back garden. It has one bathroom, modern kitchen, polished timber floors, fridge, dishwasher, heater and microwave. It also has a washing machine, dryer and two TV's. The back garden has palm trees, a hammock for lazy afternoons, and a lovely deck for relaxing. The back gate takes you down a laneway, and onto the beach in just a few minutes.

Warrain Beach, Culburra Beach, Tilbury Cove and the lake are all in walking distance from the shack.

The Little House

The Little House is a freestanding 1940’s wooden tiny house in our back garden. It has a private exterior bathroom located at the back of the main house. Our property was featured on the ABC program Escape From The City and is a uniquely cute piece of North Nowra history. The Little House has a private verandah and kitchenette. A complimentary light breakfast is included for short stays. There is also a fire pit.
