A stay at this property offers its guest a homesteading experience that may include fresh eggs from our chickens, fresh fruit and veggies from our garden, and baked goods like my famous chocolate chip cookies, artisan style homemade breads and pastries. All dependent upon availability and time of year.

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish 1890 building. There's a park that overlooks the Mississippi. And for the musically inclined there is a piano. Play your heart out! And it's just a short walk downtown. Where there's lots of great restaurants and cool shops. Rates are set by AirBnB. I offer weekly and monthly stays discounts. If there are any more than two guests there will be an additional charge for the third to eighth guests.

It offers awesome views of the river ( unbelievable sunsets, eagles, all types of boat traffic & more ). The Bungalow has a great deck looking down on the river. Enjoy a awesome experience sitting around the fire pit watching the sunset. Hey if you got a boat no problem the Bungalow has plenty of parking & the boat ramp is just 3 blocks away.

The Whitehouse

Located at the base of the bluff of the Mississippi River, enjoy this spacious 2 bed, 2 bath ranch with A frame living room. It's full of natural light, beautiful views, and enough room for everyone. All the basic amenities, as well as a hot tub, gas fire pit, and full basement with futon and basketball game to play. Just minutes from Monmouth, wedding barn in Biggsville, and Burlington, IA. A 30 amp RV service as well, if needed.

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.
