The Ponderosa is a unique, renovated 1500+ sq. ft., family cottage. Built around an early 1900s tenant house, in 1966. Downstairs: kitchen, dinning room, bedroom, living room, utility room, washer and dryer, half BR, and a full bathroom. Upstairs: full bathroom, sitting room with a futon, sofa, and TV, bedroom with full size bed with pop up trundle, and a day bed with pop up bed. Quiet rural setting. 20 min. to Downtown Lafayette. Our cottage is peaceful, comfortable, and conveniently located. The campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is near by and so is Breaux Bridge and Lafayette shopping and restaurants. We live near by and would love to tell you about a variety of places to visit such as the little cafe down town that serves the best fresh fried shrimp poboy served with fresh potato fries and on Saturday provides Cajun music played by local musicians. We love our community and think you will too.

This charming pool house has doors that open up to a poolside view. It has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom and a second floor that boasts a pool table and a balcony view of the pool! Sleeps 4. Downstairs sleeps 2 memory foam fold out sofa bed . Checkin time is 3:00pm and checkout is 10:00 am. We do allow lenient times upon request. Brand new memory foam mattresses on queen bed and queen foldout sofa
