Long Sands Cottage - Walk to Beach

Walk to Long Sands Beach - we are 0.4 miles from the beach, about a 7 minute walk. July/August are 7-day Sat to Sat only rentals. BYO Linens and Towels. Cottage is on a charming unpaved road in a quiet neighborhood of small 1950's vintage seasonal cottages. Walking distance to downtown York Beach which has a zoo, restaurants, penny arcade and fun shops. There is a rolling beach cart and two beach chairs available for your use. If you are looking for a restaurant close by try Stones Throw.

Open the Dutch Door to watch the Tugboats and get all the smells from the restaurants surrounding you. It will be hard not to eat out every night.

Our spacious 3 room, 1,200 square foot historic (c. 1670) one bedroom apartment for two guests has exposed beams, wide pine floors, full bath, kitchenette, and is just a short walk to Long Sands Beach or a short drive to York Beach, York Harbor, or York Village.

The fully fenced in yard is a true oasis with plenty of room to tan, grill and sit around the fire pit. Parking for 4 cars. Downtown Newburyport is only 3 miles away. Beach essentials include beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, cooler and cart.
