With two country pubs within walking distance, Chester zoo just 4 miles away and Chester city centre a ten minute drive we are ideally located for exploring this lovely part of Cheshire. We offer B&B at Dovecote Barn which is in the hamlet of Fitz, 6 miles NW of Shrewsbury. Fitz is a rural location, close to the River Severn but also only 10 mins drive to the medieval, market town of Shrewsbury. Birthplace of Charles Darwin, Shrewsbury has many independent cafes /shops and 600+ listed buildings. Great location if you are attending a wedding at Malt House Barn - 1.5 miles, Pimhill - 3 miles away or Rowton Castle, 7 miles away.

Plas Uchaf is a 16th century farm house with beautiful views overlooking the Conwy estuary, Castle and the foothills of Snowdonia.
