Private cabin sitting on an island over its own lake the ideal place to stay amongst nature and unwind in 10 acres. Furniture built from locally sourced trees for a beautifully crafted, rustic finish. Swing in a hammock or egg chair and indulge in a bit of star gazing. Watch the surrounding wildlife by the log burner or gather by the fire pit. Head ito Exmoor or Dartmoor & enjoy the many walks/bike rides; surf or explore the beaches. Secluded tranquil woodland lodge with amazing view

Birdsong lodge is a wonderfully secluded romantic retreat, for couples or couples with young children. Accessed only on foot, you'll need to walk the 130m track, part of which is a steep 1:4. We will help you with your luggage if required. The lodge has small double bedroom and double sofa bed. The views will take your breath away, looking across the wooded valley, with just a glimpse of the sea. For summers evenings the stone seat with firepit/bbq is a perfect set to watch the sun go down.

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
