If you're not familiar with this area the dams failed in 2020 but there is still a ton to enjoy on the property and the surrounding area. The home features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, separate rec room (pool table, dart board, bar, arcade, tv) BBQ grill, hot tub, scavenger hunt, yard games, etc.....

Quiet Getaway

Quiet vacation home on Wixom Lake. While the lake is gone at the moment, it’s still a nice get away location. Large side yard for parking or tents. A fire pit in the yard for a relaxing evening. The house has three bedrooms, including a double bunk bed in one room and a master suite & central heat/ac A recent addition of a garage, entryway and loft have changed the look of the place. Note: Wixom Lake is currently drained due to flooding & the dam collapsing in 2020. The river is approx. 100 yards out.

Red Pine Cabin Cozy & Relaxing

Take a step back in time and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Red Pine Cabin is secluded and set back 3 acres along the drive. Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. The small town of Barryton is located a mile to the South

This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The cabin has NO ELECTRICITY OR RUNNING WATER but solar lighting illuminates nicely and there are convenient private showers available offsite. Potable water provided.
