Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

This newly fitted, self-contained apartment is a peaceful retreat just a seven minute riverside walk to the heart of historic Frome. Perfect for solo traveller or couples, be it for work or relaxing; it features a comfortable double bed, t.v, full kitchen facilities, walk in shower with skylight, Wi-Fi, and direct access to your private planted terrace with lovely views across town; and you may even get a friendly hello from the owner’s dog through the bushes. Free parking is available outside.

Secluded Cabin on a Farm near Woods and Footpaths

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. If you'd like to bring your horse with you we can arrange it!

Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The Green Hut: A haven of peace and tranquility

The Green Hut is a cosy but luxurious getaway in the walker's paradise of in Batcombe, situated just behind our converted barn in a tree-lined paddock. This self-contained shepherd's hut is perfect for one or two people to immerse themselves in true rural relaxation, whilst being close to the beautiful market towns of Frome and Bruton. Whether sat outside soaking up the views in the sunshine, or snuggled up by the wood burner on a rainy day, The Green Hut is the ideal place to unwind.

The Crow’s Nest

Quirky shepherds hut in quiet Somerset Village. Sleeps two in a standard double bed. Compost toilet. Off gird gas shower. Woodburner in the hut as well as a heater in the outdoor space. It is situated in the bottom of our garden in an enclosed area for privacy. Gas stove for cooking provided along with tea and coffee. Ideal for weekend stays. We are near Longleat and Heal Rewilding. There are plenty of walks locally. Pets welcome but we do have a reactive GSD

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Bath, Wells, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury.
