Tucked among the trees on 13 private acres, this cozy dog-friendly cabin is the perfect fall escape. Explore the property with a walk to our private mountain stream, then unwind on the deck, the hot tub or at the fire pit surrounded by fall foliage. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries, zip-lining and a quaint coffee shop. The vibrant town of Floyd, an Appalachian music mecca, is a scenic 20 minute drive away. Reconnect with nature, true spa experience with the legit barrel steam water over hot rocks sauna and a wood fired hot tub plumbed to hot and cold valves. The tub is filled with fresh spring water by the guests themselves. The wood-fire keeps the water hot but not necessary. This mountain stay is nestled in the mountains of Floyd County Virginia. Five miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a short drive to Floyd and Meadows of Dan. Shop for antiques & locally made crafts, or enjoy any of the local music hot-spots, including the world famous Friday Night Jamboree and Floydfest! Chateau Morrisette Winery, Mabry Mill, and hiking trails are nearby. Enjoy a peaceful night star gazing, listening to the creek, the breeze rustling through the willow trees, bullfrogs, and the owls through the evening. Don’t forget to feed the koi in the pond!

Newly finished garage studio w/ private entrance. Studio has a full size bathroom, studio kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave and a 2 burner stove. For your sleeping comfort I have a new queen bed with memory foam mattress. Also, a Mitsubishi heat/AC unit to maintain a comfortable temperature. For an addition fee I offer a workout area complete with dry sauna that heats up to 180. I am a licensed massage therapist and when available I can offer massage by appointment in studio.

Tiny House @ TinyHouseFamily

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

Secluded cabin, walk to winery and scenic trails

This cozy cabin is tucked in private woods, yet steps away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 2 epic hiking trails, a winery and mountain & road biking options. If you opt to hop in a car, you are 5 minutes away from a 2nd winery, scenic overlooks, or a zipline adventure. The snug cabin offers a small, but very functional kitchen, a wide main porch with a charming view, and an outdoor upper balcony. The property is surrounded by woods, a small meadow and springs ripe for exploration.

Laurel Branch Cottage

The Laurel Branch Cottage is charming and ideally located near the Town of Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage is surrounded by scenic family farms and near the West Fork of the Little River. Also, we are approximately 35 miles (45 min.) from Virginia Tech. The cottage includes a kitchen, bathroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, bedroom with spacious closet and queen bed, and an upstairs bedroom (outside stair access only) with another full bed.

Creekside Cabin w/ High Speed Internet

Our cabin offers 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2 living areas. The cabin is approximately 6 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 174. The cabin can accommodate up to 17 people and is perfect for family gatherings. A beautiful kitchen, WIFI, Directv service and 3 Flat screen televisions provide all the comforts of home. The large, covered front porch over looks a beautiful creek. Buffalo Mountain and the Mabry Mill are just 2 nearby places to visit..

Modern Cabin w/ Hot Tub - Romantic Retreat

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.

The Carriage House

Retreat to the country and experience simple living at its finest! Travel by gravel road to enjoy a peaceful setting with very little traffic. Second story living quarters with everything you need for a delightful stay. Kitchen is stocked with cooking/dining and coffee supplies.. Reclining couch, TV w/ Roku and DVDs (no cable), games, and several books to help you unwind and relax. Cot available for third guest. Now with WiFi!

Drive a scenic, country dirt road to the end of state maintenance to unwind at this tranquil farm! Whether you are passing through the area or desire a longer stay, this is the perfect place to kick back and unplug. Your stay will be in the cozy guest suite of an over century old farmhouse. Enter by either of two private entrances and enjoy a ready to cook in kitchen and living room, complete with a smart TV and fast WiFi.
