Banjo's Cabin is located in the foothills of Wilkes County, North Carolina! This two-bedroom abode is named after our dog who loves the freedom of the mountain woods and creek bottom in the front yard. He also enjoys playing with the many deer, rabbits and various wildlife that we hope you can enjoy too during your stay! The cabin is conveniently located near historic downtown North Wilkesboro, Moravian Falls, many ski slopes, Boone, & West Jefferson. Pets are welcome with no additional charge.

Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).

It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains look no further. There is a seasonal water view. We are 10 minutes to downtown West Jefferson or Blue Ridge Parkway entrance, 1/4 mile to New River State Park Elk Shoals river beach and 30 minutes to Boone NC. Local attractions like canoeing, kayaking and hiking all within 10 minutes or less. Onsite Yoga is available. TV is for streaming only.
