Cute and cozy, tucked into a nice wooded lot. Walking distance to Brimley State Park, 2 miles from Bay Mills Resort and Casino and Wild Bluff Golf course. Also near Mission Hill Overlook, Pendills Fish Hatchery, Soo Locks and Tahquamenon Falls. We have endless access to NCT (North Country Trail) for hiking. Short walk to the public access beach of Lake Superior (1 block) for swimming and breathtaking sunrise/sunsets. The entire area is loaded with trails for SXS, ATV and or snowmobiling.

Empire Sleeping Cabin in Grand Marais, MI provides a cozy, restful & rustic experience for the glamper that enjoys a dry, warm and comfortable experience while surrounded by nature. Cabin has wall heater & a king size pillow top bed. "THE HEATED FULL BATHROOM & HALF BATH IS NOT IN THE CABIN" but is located just steps away from the cabin in the large pole barn, and is stocked with hand towels and toiletries to make your "GLAMPING" experience one to remember. The adventure starts with the trip to Crisp Point Beach which is located 18 miles from route 123 driven on gravel and sand roads towards Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road goes through some of the most undeveloped land in the Eastern States. This off-grid cabin provides a wonderful experience of nature due to its remote location. It is filled all the amenities you need to enjoy beach life on Lake Superior.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
