Welcome to our home, your hosts Jan & Stuart. We provide a private lockable self contained unit in the downstairs area of our 2 storey home. No required interaction unless you require something or would like some local knowledge on things to do. Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Welcome to your getaway. An expansive, lush property bordered by a stream and native trees with an extensive garden where you are welcome to wander and sit. A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Comfortable self-contained cabin for 2, sitting upon a stunning private hilltop site overlooking Taurikura Bay in Whangarei Heads. Affordable peace, quiet and privacy is our aim (1 night stays available most days). Grass camping site space available (campers #3-8 will need to bring own tent/bed/linen). I can provide made up floor mattresses for guests #3-4 if you are happy to share the small cabin space. Safe ample parking available on site.

Set just back from the edge of a cliff bordering the Whangarei Harbour you will find a private 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom, surrounded by sea views and native bush. A short stroll through the Puriri trees will lead you to your very own secluded beach.

A stones throw from the waters edge and yet close to all necessary amenities. Ample parking. Easy access and close to town. A good selection of bird life to watch. Please Note: We charge an extra $10.00 per day for EV slow charging using a 10 amp plug. This is payable when this service is used.
