Kick back and relax in our newly built, stylish one bedroom private guest house set up for guests to do their own thing. Double glazed windows and Doors along with full insulation keeps you nice and cozy along with a heatpump to keep you warm & dry in winter & cool in summer. Peaceful and private rural location. The cottage has a Queen bed in the spacious bedroom along with a double sofa bed in the lounge. Outdoor flow with substantial decking allows you to spread out relax day & night.

Titiwai Conservation Retreat

Titiwai is a stunning, architecturally designed, unique space set in 50 ha of a gated, native conservation estate. This tranquil home is stylish and contemporary, celebrating many designer features, furniture and fixtures from local artists and craftspeople. Large sliding doors open the back and entire front, creating indoor/outdoor flow onto extensive decking which steps down onto landscaped native gardens, seating and bush tracks. The views of the coast, offshore islands are breathtaking.

The Observatory, Semi Self-Contained Unit

We welcome you to our home, which has views of the ocean and farmland. The guest area is located on the ground floor. Only a 10 minute stroll into the township of Whakatane, and five minute drive to Ohope Beach, voted one of the safest surf beaches in NZ. The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.

You will be surrounded by fabulous fishing, walking and cycling opportunities. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish retreat with less than 100m to New Zealand's favourite beach, Ohope. This home has been extensively renovated with modern new kitchen, double glazing, HRV, two heat pumps and wood fire - great all year round. Only a short 7 minute drive to Ohope's international golf course and Port Ohope is popular for launching boats and jet skis. Just enjoy a walk, with lots of walking and bike tracks in the area.

We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi.
