This particular pod is one of our mid-sized, with plenty of room for two adults to stay in the double bed, and two children to stay on the foldaway bed. The pod also has a private bathroom, lounge area (with Smart TV) and a kitchenette. When you do fancy venturing out, there's plenty to see and do – whether you drive, walk or cycle, there's lots nearby.

No. 3 Alice's Cottage - Hot tub in private garden

A warm welcome to Alice's cottage which is part of Priory Holiday Cottages, self-catering holiday cottage. Built on the historical site of Syningthwaite the cottages are named as such because of their close proximity to the Syningthwaite Priory. Each cottage is named after a Prioress that ruled the Priory during its life time. Alice's cottage is a spacious cottage which has its own private garden and BBQ. A hot tub can be added to the booking for £75 per stay.

For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
