The Beach House

The Beach House, West Wittering Beach. An airy, bright home, shares a garden with the main house, sitting directly on the beach. A perfect getaway, an hour and a half from London. It is self-contained and is close to Goodwood, Chichester Theatre, great bike routes, local pubs and, of course, the sea is on your doorstep. Open-plan fully-equipped new kitchen, big comfortable sofa, TV/Wifi, separate shower room. Super king double bed, plus 2 single beds on large mezzanine floor with a sea view.

Oakwood Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Oakwood Lodge is a converted barn on a working farm. It is set on the edge of wheat fields and nestled in amongst a woodland area. I do allow dogs, they are most welcome. The outside space is secure for them to roam freely. There’s no grass, only gravel out the front and Woodchip bark out the back. The back has been left as natural as possible. There’s some nettles and brambles to be aware of, I do trim them back so they shouldn’t be an issue.

Flint Cottage – 3 mins to beach

🌊 Flint Cottage is just 3 minutes from the award-winning beach. 🛏 Two bedrooms: the master has a double bed, ensuite shower and desk; the second has a bunk bed with double below, single above, plus a desk. 🌙 Both bedrooms and the lounge have blackout curtains, helping everyone get a restful night’s sleep. 🛋️ The lounge has two sofas (one a sofa bed), a 48″ OLED TV with Google TV, PlayStation and games. 🌸 A private courtyard is filled with plants and features a handmade mosaic table.

Our hideaway offers the perfect getaway. Soak up the peace and quiet, take in the amazing view and relax surrounded by ancient woodland, only 50 miles from London. "Watching the birds fly overhead, from the comfort of a relaxing bed. Watching the trees in the winds sway, all my worries seem faraway. Originally the old potting shed, the Bothy sits alongside our Grade II listed walled garden. Beautifully restored and super cosy, it combines original features with modern comfort, including exposed brick, oak floors, a log burner, two ensuite bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests often mention the peaceful setting and thoughtful touches. With an acre of garden, woodland to explore and walks from the door, it’s a place where families and friends come together and many return.

There is instant access to beautiful countryside footpaths and bridleways. We are walking distance from a pub with a garden and good home-cooked food. Just an hour from London by train and 10 minutes drive from buzzy, cosmopolitan Brighton, we're also close to lots of pretty villages, lovely beaches, beautiful historic houses and gardens.

Plenty of local restaurants and shops and with great fish and chips on your doorstep, you won’t have to venture far for that seaside experience.

Furbelows. Sea View Apartment, Lancing Beach

Furbelows is a three bedroom apartment at Perch House, directly on the beach at Lancing. There is no road between you and the sea, just the pebbles, which is the whole point. Sea views from two sides and a south facing balcony. Sleeps six, two bathrooms. Two of the single beds can be made up into a double, just ask when you book. The Perch cafe is on the ground floor and every flat has a fob for the gym. Named after furbelows, a seaweed that grows off this coast.
