Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

Greystone Cottage is dog-friendly, and a 5 min walk to restaurants/shopping in the historic town of West Jefferson. The cottage has a seasonal mountain view, large gated porch, hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit with edison lights illuminating the outdoor area at night. The cottage is equipped with keyless entry, fiber optic high speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, mini-split A/C and heat, and a fully functional kitchen. The two bedrooms have Sealy memory foam mattresses (Queen).

Sleeping Bear Cabin - Blue Ridge Mountains

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Bring the whole family to this spacious loft with lots o f room for fun. We are in the heart of downtown West Jefferson and are within walking distance to resturants, boutiques, speciality shops, movie theater, antique shops and more. Enjoy the balcony overlooking the town and views of Mt. Jefferson. It's a great place to watch parades, car shows or just people watch. The loft has a pool table, games, smart TV's, three unique designed bedrooms and a wet bar. Just enjoy your stay.

Carter’s Hill Cottage - 3 miles from Twickenham

Carter’s Hill Cottage sits on two acres and is only three miles from the Twickenham House. Enjoy the sun coming over the mountain while you sip on a hot coffee while sitting on our fully covered front porch. The cottage is only minutes from the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson with a view of Mt. Jefferson (4665 ft) in front of the cottage and Phoenix Mtn to the rear of the cottage. Although you are so close to all the fun, you are secluded with no neighbors in view.

Spend your days hiking trails off the Blue Ridge Parkway, fishing or floating down the New River, or just exploring all that downtown has to offer. After a long day of exploring and sampling bites and brews from the local downtown pubs and restaurants, simply walk back to your oasis overlooking town and recharge your batteries with some games or cozy up and watch your favorite movie.
