Come Relax and catch some fish at this peaceful country cottage. 3 bedroom and 2 full baths. 2 king size beds, a bunk bed, and a twin bed. We welcome you and your family to our home away from home. The Cottontail has the comforts of your home with lots of room for fun. Only ten minutes from town, this quiet and peaceful getaway sits in the country surrounded with nature trails and wildlife. It is a short drive (30 minutes) from Crossett, Monticello, Lake Village and a little over an hour to Greenville, MS and Monroe, LA. There is plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy all this area has to offer.

Grand Historic Home in the Heart of Town

Built in the early 1900s, The Preaus House is boasting with character. From 12' ceilings to original hardwood floors, there are unique attributes in each room. There are 4 beautifully colored (non-functional) fireplaces in all the downstairs bedrooms, a claw foot tub/shower combination, rare cork tiles in the den, custom cabinetry, and a fabulous farmhouse kitchen sink. Room for parking up to 4 vehicles and boats or utility trailers is available.

Savage Lane

Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

Take it easy and relax at our beautiful cabin. Less than a mile off the Highway but located at the end of the road on a 40 acre track. You can unwind on the backporch, fish in the pond, watch for wildlife and take time to yourself. Wifi is excellent if you need to work remotely and cabin is spacious and open for families to enjoy their time together.
