Ian's Cottage has been lovingly renovated and converted from a small barn into a beautiful little holiday cottage set in its own garden with breathtaking views across the fields to the Mendip Hills - not a road in sight! Although it is small we believe it has all the comforts that are essential for a relaxing break. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders, ladybirds, or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Hatherlow

Hatherlow is a spacious 4-bedroom 145m2 home on a quiet no-through road offering comfort and style for families, couples, and groups, large or small. Views from the rear garden are over open fields while the front garden is shielded by trees lending a heightened sense of privacy and serenity. There's a large deck with gas-fired barbecue (for alfresco dining) two lawns, a hammock, large patio, and a 15 m2 summerhouse for yoga, games, quiet reading, Internet surfing and/or streaming.

Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.
