The Portico cabin, built in the 1870's, is cozy, rustic and carefully preserved. It is ideal for a couples getaway, small family staycation or solo retreat to escape everyday life and connect with nature. Relax on the porch rockers or cozy up by the wood stove, surrounded by books. Enjoy the cabin and surrounding 60 acres, featuring walking trails, fishing pond, a large fire pit, river access with canoes, and historic church, The Portico. Explore the nearby towns of Athens, Monroe and Madison.

Contemporary 1BR Suite in the ATL Metro

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room, including a full kitchen, 1 full bath and 1 half bath. Smart TV’s in the living and bed room and all the basic amenities that make your stay relaxing. Our space also has two sofa beds in addition to the two plush queen beds in the bed room. You will not find a more spacious hotel style suite in town. This listing is not a shared space, you have access to only your suite with private entrance from the front of the building.
